This guide will help you get Veesus Point Clouds for Revit installed and running correctly. Please read through before you start — depending on your setup you may need to do something slightly different.
You must have an active Veesus subscription to use our software. If you haven't already subscribed, choose a tier here.
Installation — new users
The plug-in is currently available for Revit 2022 and above. Ensure Revit is closed before beginning installation.
- 1Download Veesus Point Clouds for Revit from our website.
- 2Once your software has downloaded, if installation doesn't start automatically click the .exe file and follow the on-screen prompts.
- 3You do not need to tick the "reset license" checkbox.
- 4If you've previously installed Veesus Point Clouds for Revit you may see a notification telling you the .NET framework is already installed — follow the prompts to continue.
- 5Once installation has completed, launch Revit. You'll be automatically prompted to enter your Veesus subscription details.
- 6The plug-in is ready to use. You'll need our free VPC Creator to work with your Point Clouds inside Revit.
A note on VPC files
All Veesus software applications require Point Clouds to be converted into our proprietary VPC format (.vpc) before they can be used. VPC Creator is available to download free from the Veesus website.
